MD Awarded 'The Highest Award of Distinction for Marketing' by Vogue International

Melbourne Drugs Pte Ltd is honoured to receive the “The Highest Award of Distinction for Marketing 2013 - Asia Pacific Region” from Vogue International, for outstanding marketing of Organix® in Singapore. Organix, a Vogue International brand, is one of the fastest growing Top 10 haircare brand within the FDC channels in North America (source: A.C. Nielsen), and has seen strong growth in the Asia Pacific region, with important contributions from various markets such as Australia, South Korea, Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and more recently China.

Vogue International affirms the many marketing initiatives that Melbourne Drugs Pte Ltd have put in place over the course of Y2013 that has seen the brand continue its exponential sales growth of more than 30% year-on-year (both in EXW purchases and retail scan sales). These marketing initiatives include the following:

  1. Conducting a high-impact PR campaign that has seen the brand awarded in total 12 beauty awards from top-tier beauty publications such as Singapore Women's Weekly, Cleo, Harper's Bazaar, and Cosmopolitan
  2. Implementing an effective Social Media Engagement Strategy that has seen the brand's Singapore Facebook page grow to over 10,000 fans within a short span of 1 year
  3. Securing highly visible and attractive shelf placements for the brand, with a good mix of island stands and wall columns that elevates the brand image
  4. Placements of educational advertorials to supplement traditional advertising, resulting ina strong brand image that targets the educated consumer
